On September 30, members of the YCS Club at Ocer organized a cleaning exercise at the Prayer Garden.
Located somewhat away from the areas where students spend much of their daily lives, the Prayer Garden can easily slip from students’ everyday preoccupations. The YCS members’ decision to give the garden some much-needed attention was therefore a commendable expression of magis—doing more and seeking to make a positive difference.
The exercise not only helped to keep the Prayer Garden clean and welcoming but also reminded the students of their responsibility to care for the spaces around them.
