Science Practicals

Ocer Campion Jesuit College takes pride in its state-of-the-art science laboratories, which are designed to provide students with an optimal atmosphere for both practical lessons and examinations. The school features an impressive array of facilities, including three fully equipped ICT laboratories which have significantly enhanced students' digital learning experience. Additionally, students benefit from two physics laboratories, two chemistry laboratories, and two biology laboratories, all of which are meticulously designed to ensure that students have access to the necessary resources for a thorough and engaging educational experience.

Farming and Care for the Enviroment

We complement this theoretical learning with practical engagements that include tree planting initiatives and active campaigns aimed at raising awareness against deforestation and bushfires. Our goal is to shape our students into passionate ambassadors for the environment, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for sustainability. Additionally, we emphasize the culture of environmentally friendly agricultural practices, ensuring our students are well versed in methods that promote self-reliance in food production while also protecting our natural resources. Sports

At Ocer, we are deeply committed to fostering a vibrant sports culture that encourages and promotes physical activity among our students. Almost every day, our students engage in a diverse range of sports, selecting from popular options such as, netball, football, volleyball, and basketball. To facilitate this engagement, the school has several well-maintained pitches dedicated to each of these sports. This has enabled every student to find their place in sporting actitivies. Beyond the regular practice and enjoyment of sports, our school also organizes a variety of indoor competitions throughout the year, providing students with the chance to compete and showcase their skills. Moreover we actively support our athletes in participating in inter-school tournaments that span various levels, including prestigious national competitions, thereby allowing them to demonstrate their talents on a larger stage and strive for excellence in their sporting endeavors.
