Term III Starts in High Gear

With the reporting of S1, S2 and S3 on September 11, all seven classes have now officially returned to school. Apart from a few students who, for one reason or another, have not yet made it back, the Ocerian community is once again together—and ready for the business of Term III.

On Sunday, September 13, the school community gathered for the Opening Mass, during which the new term and the entire Ocerian community were commended to God. By Monday, September 14, there was no more room for holiday excuses: classes officially got underway, and the familiar rhythm of lessons, preps, books and everything else that makes school... well, school was back.

Term III may be the shortest term of the year, but that does not necessarily mean it will feel short! There is plenty to be done, and we hope both students and staff will make the most of the weeks ahead.

And when the final bell of the term eventually rings, our hope is that everyone will look back and say, “That was a good term”—with a smile on their face and, perhaps, a little sigh of relief!
