During the Holy Mass on September 29, 2026, the OCJC family joined Mr. Ochora John Paul in celebrating his acceptance by the Catholic Church as a catechist. Mr. Ochora serves as the Campus Minister at Ocer, an office dedicated to promoting the spiritual dimension of school life. His new role in the Church, therefore, seems more than fitting.

Mr. Ochora receives the Catechism of the Catholic Church from the main celebrant, Fr. Meyo, SJ.

Commenting on the new development, Mr. Ochora expressed his gratitude, saying, “I offer my sincere gratitude to God for making it possible for me to become His servant as a catechist in the Roman Catholic Church.”

He went on to add, “I feel honored to be a member of the great family of Ocer. The love and support the OCJC family offers me is simply overwhelming. May Almighty God bless each and every member of this great family.”
